Despite much of the United States still being under strict lockdown orders to stop the spread of the coronavirus, it appears many car enthusiasts in California are sick and tired of being stuck at home and held an impromptu car meet over the weekend.

The event, attended by entertaining YouTuber effspot, took place in a parking lot and looked to have attracted at least 100 vehicles.

Los Angeles is home to all kinds of car enthusiasts with different tastes and a wide array of performance machines attended the meet. One of the most striking featured in the video is a heavily modified Ford Mustang that’s been painted bright orange and adorned with a host of dark red carbon fiber parts. It also features a towering rear wing and looks utterly ridiculous.

On the supercar front, there was everything from multiple Lamborghini Huracans to at least one Lamborghini Urus, a number of McLarens including at least two 720S models, various Audi R8s, and heaps of Porsche 911s. Japanese car enthusiasts also turned out in force with at least one R32-generation Nissan Skyline and even an R34-generation Skyline.

Unsurprisingly, it didn’t take long for the police to stumble across the meet, forcing the dozens of cars to make a move and head to another area to re-congregate. A Ford Explorer police car was spotted pulling over both a modified Nissan 350Z and a C7 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 but apart from that, it doesn’t appear as though anyone else was pulled over for attending the event or the cruise.
