Back in March, James May took to YouTube in order to share his feelings regarding some of the platform’s most popular car people’s rides.

Now it was his colleague Richard Hammond’s turn, and thankfully he was given a new list of names to look over, filling in some “influencer gaps” left after May’s initial video. In the end, compared to Captain Slow, Hammond seemed a little less critical.

We don’t want to give away his opinions, so you’ll need to watch the full video for that. However, we can tell you which YouTubers he looked at and what types of cars he came across.

Here’s the list in the order in which he reviews them: Ken Block’s modded Ford Escort Cosworth, Shmee150’s McLaren Senna, JR Garage’s Mercedes-Benz CL600, Jay Leno’s 1954 Jaguar XK120, Rob Dahm’s Mazda RX-7, Gigi Papasavvas’ Porsche 911 GT3, Vehicle Virgins’ McLaren 600LT and Cleetus McFarland’s “Leroy” Corvette.

What’s interesting is that Hammond owns the same type of classic Jaguar as Leno, except Hammond’s is currently undergoing restoration, whereas Leno’s is completely original. Still, that didn’t stop the Grand Tour presenter from cheekily claiming “Jay, my car’s going to be better than yours.”

We’re also looking forward to seeing Jeremy Clarkson do one of these videos, because he will certainly not make any effort to be nice – if anything, we’d bet on him being quite vitriolic.

As for what the three The Grand Tour presenters are up to right now, it has been confirmed that filming for the series has been delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
