The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is all the rage at the moment and for good reason.

However, the mid-engined sports car is not perfect, as Throttle House recently discovered. This review, like pretty much every other for the C8, is full of praise for the powertrain. There is a 6.2-liter naturally-aspirated V8 engine located right behind the cabin and mated to this engine is a fantastic dual-clutch transmission.

While it would have been nice to see the Corvette offered with a six-speed manual, the fact that the dual-clutch performs so well both on the road and the track means we can (almost) forgive Chevrolet for not selling it with a stick shift.

The engine and transmission come together to offer an exhilarating experience for anyone fortunate enough to get behind the wheel of the new Corvette. Unfortunately, Throttle House says the car has heaps of understeer, with one of the presenters saying it understeers just as much as the Audi RS3.

This is not the first time we have heard about the C8 Corvette having excessive amounts of understeer as Motor Trend last year wrote a lengthy report on it and how it can be minimized thanks to some track-focused alignment settings.

We happen to be quite fond of the C8’s interior but these reviewers do have some issues with it. For example, they don’t like the digital rearview mirror. Head over to the video to see what else they had to say about the mid-engined Vette.
