A gorgeous 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 painted in Mexico Blue has hit the market and at the time of writing had attracted a highest bid of $105,000 with seven days left in the auction.

Immediately making the car stand out from the vast majority of 991.2-generation 911 GT3 models produced is the Paint to Sample Mexico Blue finish that was special ordered, reportedly at a cost of $13,000. There are a host of other exterior touches that make the sports car eye-catching.

For example, there are red brake calipers, red rims around the wheels and bizarrely, red headlight washers. In addition, black lettering has been applied to the large rear wing. Many of those commenting on the Bring A Trailer auction aren’t particularly fond of the red accents but with the exception of the red calipers, we’re sure they would be cheap and easy to return to black.

The listing reveals that the body panels, glass, headlights, taillights, and wheels were all ceramic coated back in April and the car is being sold with a clean Carfax showing no history of accidents or other damage. Found inside are carbon fiber bucket seats trimmed in black leather with gray-striped Alcantara centers. Also featured are Guards Red seat belts, a fire extinguisher and Porsche Communication Management with navigation.

Powering the Porsche 911 GT3 is one of the finest engines of the modern era, a naturally-aspirated 4.0-liter six that revs to 9,000 rpm and produces 500 hp at 8,250 rpm and 339 lb-ft (460 Nm). Making this example particularly desirable is the fact that it has the available six-speed manual transmission and just 2,800 miles (4,506 km) on the clock.
