The Porsche 911 Targa has a long and illustrious history and the first reviews of the latest model have started to hit the web.

The video reviews you’ll find below come from Autogefühl and MotoManTV and both feature the flagship Targa 4S model, as opposed to the slightly less powerful and cheaper Targa 4.

Driving the 911 Targa 4 and 911 Targa 4S is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter flat-six engine that is rated at 380 hp and 331 lb-ft (450 Nm) in the Targa 4 while producing 444 hp and 391 lb-ft (530 Nm) in the 4S. Coupled to the car’s twin-turbocharged straight-six is an eight-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission funneling power through all four wheels. Should customers want a slightly more engaging driving experience, a seven-speed manual is also available.

As you would expect for a premium 911 model like the Targa 4S, the interior looks to be a lovely place to spend time. There are electrically-adjustable seats and a superb driving position. Porsche has done a particularly nice job incorporating the infotainment system into the dashboard of the 992-generation car. The car also has digital gauges located on either side of the analog tachometer.
