If you’ve ever thought about getting your kids into cars with a miniature motorized vehicle, you’ve probably considered one of the many battery-powered ride-ons from a big-box store. However, for those who can afford it, there is currently another, very unique option, and it comes in the form of a half-scale gas-powered Porsche 911.

Listed for sale on Elferspot, this Porsche-kart features an 83 cc Honda engine that produces 2.15 hp (2.18 PS / 1.6 kW). On top of that, it has a functional manual transmission with two forward gears and reverse. Top speed is a safe 25 km/h (15 mph), and the ad mentions it can be adjusted, although it’s not clear if they mean faster or slower.

The go-kart was actually produced by Porsche themselves, and only 224 were ever made. Back in 1983 when it was new, the aptly-named Porsche 911 Cabriolet Junior retailed for the equivalent of $4,500 US dollars. However, if you were looking to get your hands on this collectible now, it will set you back an eye-watering €14,900 ($17,810 USD). That kind of money can buy you a full-sized Porsche, like a used first-gen Boxster.

The “car” is finished in red and includes iconic features as the Fuchs wheels and whale tail spoiler. It has only covered 10 km since 1983, so rest assured this mini Porsche is in good condition. Everything from the bodywork, to the interior, to the engine bay appears to be in nearly perfect shape.

Overall, while a really cool collectible, this Porsche go-kart is still expensive. However, should you actually buy it, you’d be able to boast that you technically own a vintage, single-seat, manual, Honda-powered Porsche 911, and that’s something not many can claim.
