Cast your mind back to the start of 2017 and Faraday Future was arguably the most talked-out EV startup on the planet. Fast forward to mid-2021 and the company is still yet to begin production of its FF 91 due to a plethora of money issues. Now, it would seem the company is making some progress.

The company recently took to YouTube to share footage of the luxurious second-row of the FF 91. In particular, the video shows off the massive 27-inch rear display found in the FF 91. This display folds down from the roof and includes a video call feature. It’s not too dissimilar to the fold-down displays that minivans have had for years, although it does look a little more advanced.

For example, the screen can fold down following a simple voice command, a neat trick that allows rear-seat passengers to just sit back and enjoy the FF 91’s luxurious seats.

Faraday Future was most recently in the news back in February when it was announced that Geely and Foxconn will provide contract manufacturing services to the car manufacture. While details of the deal haven’t been confirmed, it is claimed that Faraday Future will look to establish a base in China and enlist Geely to build its electric vehicles for the local market.

In addition to this, Faraday Future will soon go public. It has been confirmed the company will be brought to the market through special purpose acquisition company Property Solutions Acquisition Corp in a deal that will value the combined entity at $3.4 billion.
