We like the Ford Mustang. We really do. Sales figures prove that heaps of other people also love the Mustang but unfortunately, many lack the necessary skills to drive it.

This particular clip appears to have been filmed somewhere in Hungary and shows the driver of a Mustang GT reversing out from a parking space on the side of a country road. They then pin the throttle of the powerful 5.0-liter V8, immediately spinning up the rear wheels.

Based on the sound of the car, it seems to be equipped with the available automatic transmission and as it changes into second gear, the rear end of the Mustang kicks out to the right. The driver clearly didn’t have the necessary reactions to bring the car back under control and instead slams on the brakes, sealing their fate as the pony car slides off the side of the road and into a patch of grass.

Only a single image of the car is shown after the crash, meaning it is difficult to determine exactly how much damage was done. However, we can see that the rear bumper has been partially torn off and the Ford appears to be resting on a pile of dirt. It’s entirely possible that some damage has also been done to the undertray of the car. The good thing is that no one was hurt – apart, maybe, from the driver’s pride and, likely, their wallet.
