Rapid Blue is one of the most striking colors offered for the C8-generation Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and while we think it looks good, we’re not so sure about this particular example.
The mid-engine sports car was recently filmed at a car meet in Atlanta and is rocking a set of wheels from Forgiato known as the Blocco-ECLs. These wheels measure a massive 21-inches at the front and 22-inches at the rear, making them larger than the 19/20s that the car leaves the factory with.

These wheels have a complex spoke design and if finished in black, they’d already be quite striking. However, the owner of this Corvette had them painted in the same shade of Rapid Blue as the rest of the car. To our eyes, there’s a little too much blue but hey, as a way to make a statement, this is certainly one way to do it.
As if the Rapid Blue paint and the matching wheels weren’t enough, this C8 also features a matching blue and black leather interior. It also appears to have been equipped with the available Z51 package as evidenced by the black rear spoiler.
Interestingly, this isn’t the only Rapid Blue C8 Corvette out there sitting on matching Forgiato wheels. Featured in the gallery below is another C8 just like it, albeit sitting on Villaggi-ECL wheels.
