To celebrate the end of its one-make racing series, Ferrari puts on one of the best shows on earth. An ode on itself, the “Finali Modiali 2021” featured some of the finest cars from the automaker’s rich history all on track at Mugello.

Coinciding with the release of the latest Ferrari Icona Model, the Daytona SP3, there was, of course, a demonstration of the new supercar. A limited-production model like the Monza SP1 and SP2, the Daytona SP3 celebrates Ferrari’s 1-2-3 finish at the 24 Hours of Daytona in 1967. Powered by a naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12, it makes 829 hp (618 kW / 840 PS) and 697 Nm (514 lb-ft) of torque.

Here, though, it is seen next to the very cars that inspired it. Together, the Daytona SP3, two 330 P4s, and a 412P did a few parade laps around the Mugello Circuit. Together, the thrilling sound of their V12s can be heard pumping around the high-speed circuit and the older cars are allowed to cut loose a few times.

Along with those timely cars, Ferrari was also eager to show off other aspects of its racing heritage, too. In the video below, you can see a trio of relatively modern Formula 1 cars (two 2009 Ferrari F60 F1 cars driven by Giancarlo Fisichella and Olivier Beretta and a 2017 Ferrari SF70H driven by Andrea Bertolini) do a standing start.

After these, Ferrari also brought out a variety of FXX Ks, 599XXs, older 458 GT3 cars, a 355 GT Competizione, and a selection of other vehicles to show off its wide array of performance vehicles.

The Finali Mondiali was also a race, though, so along with the parade laps, there was some real competition in which Luka Nurmi became the youngest driver to ever win the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. Ernst Kirchmayr, meanwhile, became the winner of the Ferrari Challenge Europe Coppa Shell.
