When a one-off Ferrari isn’t quite enough, what do you do? Well, if you’re billionaire Sam Li, you take a Ferrari F12 and transform it into something entirely new, dubbed the Veloqx Fangio.

The car was unveiled at an exclusive event at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dubai last week where a host of car YouTubers were invited to check it out in person. Effspot was one of them and not only was he able to extensively film the car but also had the opportunity to go for a ride in it.

While we know the car is based around a Ferrari F12, it is unclear if it shares its powertrain with the standard F12 Berlinetta or the F12tdf. If it has the F12’s standard 6.3-liter naturally-aspirated V12, then it pumps out 730 hp while the tdf’s upgraded engine would increase that to 769 hp. Whatever the case may be, the one-off creation obviously features a new exhaust system as it sounds significantly louder than a standard F12.

The exterior design of the Fangio really makes it stand out from a regular F12. Not a single body panel is shared with the car on which it is based and found up front are a pair of tiny LED headlights, a massive front grille, and a unique engine cover. However, perhaps the most striking angle of the Fangio is its rear where there is a towering wing that’s also incorporated into the rear quarter panels.

The team behind the car has also developed a unique quad tailpipe layout for the car, which exits from beneath the rear wing, and has gold heat shielding to protect nearby carbon fiber parts. There are also a pair of intriguing LED taillights and a pronounced carbon fiber diffuser.
