Customer deliveries of the Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 recently kicked off in Japan and this striking example was the very first one delivered.

Public opinion on the reincarnated Lamborghini Countach still seems split but of the LPI 800-4 models that we have seen to date, this is certainly one of the brightest. The color adorning it is known as Blu Uranus and first debuted on the Lamborghini Sian Roadster and is now available across other Lamborghini models. Unfortunate color name aside, we think it suits the new Countach very much.

The paint isn’t the only part of this Countach that stands out as it is also rocking a set of gold wheels and a white leather interior. A number of exposed carbon fiber elements are also found across the exterior, including the side air intakes and the rear diffuser.

These photos were snapped when the car was handed over to its new owner and much of the cabin remains wrapped in plastic. What we can see is that the dashboard and door panels have a combination of white and black leather while the carpets and seats appear to be a bright shade of red to match the brake calipers.

As a reminder, the Countach LPI 800-4 is based largely around the Aventador and uses the same powertrain as the Sian. That means it combines a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to deliver a total of 803 hp, allowing the supercar to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and a 221 mph (340 km/h) top speed.

Lamborghini is building just 112 examples of the Countach LPI 800-4, each carrying a price tag of $2.6 million, a very hefty premium over an Aventador S.
