BMWs are often seen with aftermarket alloy wheels, especially when it comes to older models in the used car market. Strasse Wheels however, wanted to see how the brand-new 7 Series flagship would look with new set of rims, and the result is polarizing.

The tuner used a 2023 BMW 740i in Mineral White fitted with the M Sport package which brings sportier bumpers and black accents around the grille. The highlight here though is the new set of SV20M-RS Deep Concave FS wheels measuring 22-inches in diameter, which are both larger and flashier than any stock option from BMW’s catalogue.

The forged aluminum wheels combine gloss brushed cleared centers with high polished and cleared lips. The front rims are 22×9, while the rear are 22×11 shod in wide ultra-low low profile tires. The car also appears to be lowered, although there is no mention of chassis upgrades.

The styling of the seventh-generation BMW 7 Series with its split headlights and massive grille has itself split fans of the Bavarian brand, although history has proven that controversy sells for the premium brand. The 22-inch wheels don’t look as large as we would expect, mostly due to the tall body of the G70. Mind you, the 740i comes standard with 20-inch wheels. Under the bonnet lies a turbocharged mild-hybrid 3.0-liter inline-six engine producing 375 hp (279 kW / 380 PS) and 540 Nm (398 lb-ft) of torque. Power is transmitted to the rear axle through an eight-speed automatic gearbox.

If you are wondering about the cost of the pictured alloys, Strasse Wheels is offering the SV20M-RS Deep Concave FS design in different sizes from 18-inches all the way up to 24 inches, priced from $2,250 each, or from $9,000 for a set of four.
