With the 57th Easter Safari being only a couple of weeks away, Jeep published the second set of sketches that preview more of the “mission-capable” concepts. Among those, there will be examples of the Wrangler and Grand Wagoneer, and possibly the Gladiator, most likely with electrified powertrains.

Predictably, the concepts that will tackle this year’s rally in Moab, Utah, will be upgraded with off-road goodies from Jeep Performance Parts / Mopar, and come painted in “unapologetic” colors. Jeep didn’t give away much information but the “electrified off-road capability” that is mentioned in the press release hints at a wider use of the 4xe plug-in hybrid powertrain.

Jeep Easter Safari Concepts To Include A Grand Wagoneer Next To Electrified Wranglers

The second bunch of teasers includes three sketches. One of them shows the front end of a purple/pink Wrangler Rubicon, with the blue accents giving away the 4xe underpinnings. The second sketch is either a Wrangler or a Gladiator, featuring the new seven-slot grille that debuted on the 20th-anniversary editions. We can also see a special bull bar, larger all-terrain tires, and some kind of wires on the front fenders likely for securing something on the roof.

Last but not least, the blueish Grand Wagoneer will be a first for the Easter Jeep Safari. A new set of grippier tires will improve the off-road credentials of the large SUV, likely combined with a suspension lift. Other details we can see from the sketch are the gloss-black fender extensions and the sticker on the bonnet.

The previous teaser showed what looked like a two-door Wrangler pickup and another four-door Wrangler 4xe, which means that Jeep will bring at least five vehicles to Moab this year. The only 4xe models in Jeep’s current North American range are the four-door Wrangler and the Grand Cherokee, but the Gladiator and the Grand Wagoneer are also expected to be electrified in the near future.

The 57th annual Easter Jeep Safari is scheduled for April 1-9 but we wouldn’t be surprised if more teasers head our way before that date.
