Prices for the updated 2024 Nissan GT-R have jumped significantly over the 2023 model year, but Nissan has introduced a number of mild improvements for the coming year, so not every cent of that increase can be attributed to inflation.

As was the case last year, the 2024 Nissan GT-R lineup opens with the Premium trim, which starts at $122,885 ($120,990 plus a $1,895 destination charge). To start the 2023 model year, Nissan announced on October 28, 2022, that the the GT-R Premium cost $115,435 (destination included), but in March of 2023, the price was raised by $2,500, so the most recent MSRP for the base model was $117,935 (destination included).

Ultimately, you could argue that the 2024 model actually costs $7,450 more than it did last year. However, Nissan has redesigned front and rear fascias, a new rear wing, and developed other aero elements on the GT-R Premium that reduce drag while also increasing downforce.

Returning to the lineup in 2024 is the GT-R T-spec, which starts at $142,885 (140,990 plus a $1,895 destination charge). Absent in 2023, the T-spec makes the same 565 hp (421 kW/573 PS) as the Premium, but gets carbon-ceramic brakes, gold-painted RAYS 20-inch forged wheels, NISMO-tuned Vehicle Dynamic Controls, and wider front fenders.

The 2024 GT-R also revives some historic GT-R paint colors, and can be finished in Millennium Jade or Midnight Purple. Inside, customers will get dark Mori Green upholstery in combination with semi-aniline and suede upholstery for the front seats.

Rounding out the model lineup is the familiar GT-R NISMO. The most powerful trim level offered by Nissan, its price is as high as its performance. Its engine churns out 600 hp (447 kW/608 PS), and its pricing starts at $222,885 ($220,990 plus $1,895 destination charge). That’s a $5,250 premium over the 2023 model as it is sold today. However, it also experienced a mid-year price bump. That means that, as compared to when sales started for the MY2023 GT-R, prices are actually up by $10,250.

For that extra cash, buyers get a new rear wing that sits on swan-neck supports that increase its surface area by almost 10 percent. It also gets a limited-slip differential at the front for the first time, to improve the driving experience.

A new NISMO Appearance Package will add RAYS wheels with red accents, a unique clear coat on the carbon fiber hood, and an exclusive engine cover. Buyers will be able to pick this package, or any other, when the 2024 Nissan GT-R goes on sale this summer.
