- A Toyota RAV4 driver caused chaos at an intersection.
- SUV cut off traffic and mounted the sidewalk twice.
- Failed reverse maneuver triggered a multi-car crash.
For some people, driving is a challenge. Whether it be due to poor eyesight, inadequate coordination, terrible spatial awareness, or a slew of other factors, getting behind the wheel of a motor vehicle doesn’t come as naturally to some as it does to self-described gearheads. It seems the driver of this Toyota is one of those who struggle.
This hilarious security camera footage is currently doing the rounds on social media and shows the driver of an older light-blue Toyota RAV4 entering an intersection. As they begin driving forward, they pull directly in front of a white SUV, forcing them to slam on the brakes to avoid T-boning the Toyota.

What the driver of the RAV4 does next is baffling. Rather than pulling out onto the road calmly, they hit the gas and begin turning left, overshooting the road and driving up onto the sidewalk, narrowly avoiding slamming into a large pole.

Moments later, the driver begins to reverse out, back onto the road, but seemingly without looking in the RAV4’s mirrors. As they reverse out, they slam into the front of a silver sedan, which was then pushed into a white hatchback traveling in the opposite direction.
It’s a truly bizarre scene, but it gets even weirder as the RAV4 driver then drives forward, once again over the curb and onto the sidewalk.
We haven’t been able to find any other footage showing what happened afterward, nor have we found any details about the driver who caused the carnage. It remains unclear whether impairment played a role, whether this was an extreme case of inexperience, or something else entirely was at play
Whatever the cause, a refresher course in basic driver training would seem advisable before this RAV4 ventures back onto public roads.
