- A lifted Toyota Tacoma caused a high-speed intersection crash.
- The pickup struck a stopped Hyundai Santa Fe at the lights.
- Impact sent both vehicles airborne before the truck rolled.
Several motorists were fortunate to walk away from a devastating crash caused by the erratic driver of a lifted Toyota Tacoma in the US. It’s the kind of incident that lingers in your mind long after the footage ends. After watching it unfold, you may find yourself checking your rearview mirror a little more carefully the next time you are stopped at an intersection.
The clip was shared on TikTok by a user who said she first noticed the green Tacoma approaching quickly from behind. Concerned by what she described as erratic behavior and the truck’s proximity to her vehicle, she moved into an adjacent lane and began recording.

In the video, the Tacoma appears to accelerate rapidly as it approaches an intersection. Brake lights illuminate moments before impact, but the pickup is unable to stop in time and collides with the rear of a Hyundai Santa Fe that is stationary at the light.
The force of the impact pushes the Hyundai and Toyota into the air, with the Tacoma rolling completely over before landing on its side. According to the TikToker, the driver and passenger of the Santa Fe “were in an absolute state of shock and in rough condition” after the impact, but miraculously survived.

No doubt helping them was the fact that they were in a fairly modern SUV. Had they been driving a smaller and older car, they could have been gravely injured.
The Santa Fe appears to have sustained extensive rear-end damage, and its front end was also struck as the Tacoma rolled forward before coming to rest. As the Toyota rolled, the pickup also made contact with a small black sedan nearby.
At the time of writing, there is no official information regarding injuries to the Tacoma’s driver, and it remains unclear whether any charges have been filed.
@beauregarde.mcdon I’ve always been conscious about looking in my mirror on highways when traffic comes to a stop but nothing prepares you of this. Green truck was driven by a lady who clearly was on something. Her driving was so erratic I can’t even begin to explain it. I proceed to get over cause she managed to get right behind me and then I started recording. White car was pretty beat up and the driver and passenger were in an absolute state of shock and in rough condition. I paced her at 80 considering I was going about 55 to get away from her before I got over and recorded. Everyone stay safe
