The National Transportation Safety Board has had to remind drivers not to jump of out moving vehicles and dance to Drake’s new song called “In My Feelings.”

The stupidly of that statement shouldn’t be understated, but this is apparently a growing trend and it forced the NTSB’s Chief of Safety Advocacy to address the issue. Speaking with The Blast, Nicholas Worrell said “Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of death in the United States. Hopping out of a moving vehicle or jumping into lanes of traffic to show your dance moves is foolish and dangerous – to you and those around you.”

The warning message comes as a result of the In My Feelings challenge which has been popularized by celebrities such as Will Smith. The challenge is a hit on social media and it has pushed a number of people to attempt dangerous stunts.

While the publication says there haven’t been any reported injuries, as a result of the latest viral sensation, Worrell said “There’s a time and place for everything, but our nation’s highways and roadways are no place for the #InMyFeelings challenge.”

After seeing some of the viral videos posted to social media, it seems doubtful that people haven’t been injured. However, it seems unlikely they would willing admit to jumping out of a moving vehicle and hurting themselves for a few seconds of internet fame. Not only is it stupid and dangerous, but obviously illegal.

Jalopnik notes the NTSB also posted a warning message on Facebook saying “We have some thoughts about the #InMyFeelings challenge. Distraction in any mode is dangerous & can be deadly. Whether you are a driver, pilot, or operator, focus on safely operating your vehicle.”
