It is no secret that A80-generation Toyota Supra models are fetching insane sums of money at the moment and while this example can probably be purchased for less than it would if it was stock, it’s still quite pricey.

This Supra may be a highly-desirable MK4 model but it also has undergone extensive modifications. That’s hardly unique as the vast majority of A80 Supras out there have some kind of upgrades. However, what is intriguing about this particular Supra is hiding under the hood.

Most notably, the car’s iconic 2JZ engine has been removed and in its place, there’s an LS engine stroked to 5.3-liters. This engine sports a new crankshaft, custom Weisco pistons, new rods, lifters, cams, dual valve springs, titanium retainers, a performance oil pump, and new Bosch injectors. However, and in true Supra fashion, it has also been joined by a 94 mm Precision turbocharger, dual Precision 46 mm wastegates, and a custom 9.5-inch billet torque converter. The Supra also sports an 8.8 rear differential to handle all the power.

The eBay listing for the car fails to mention how much power it has but claims that the car has run quarter-mile passes in the 8-second range, meaning it is very quick indeed. But then again, when you see a Supra with a parachute hanging out in the rear, you kind of expect that. Making it even quicker is the fact that it features a Nitrous system and has launch control.

This Supra is fittingly sitting on a set of drag radial tires to help transmit as much power as possible to the tarmac and also features an aftermarket front lip and a carbon fiber hood.

Various changes have also been made to the interior, including the fitment of a new carbon fiber dashboard that deletes all of the original gauges.
