Dodge has teased a more powerful Charger Sixpack, ahead of its debut on August 7. It will be unveiled ahead of Roadkill Nights and we’ll be on hand at the event.
The automaker isn’t saying much, but they released a short video showing a ‘Christmas tree’ covered in bees. The clip ends with “you know what it is,” before repeating black and yellow multiple times.

If that hint was too subtle, we’re likely looking at a new Charger Super Bee. The model first debuted in 1968 and last appeared in 2023 as a Last Call special edition.
While Dodge isn’t saying much, the car will feature a twin-turbo 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six producing more than 550 hp (410 kW / 558 PS) and 531 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque. The model is expected to have around 600 hp (447 kW / 608 PS) and this will likely enable it to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in less than 3.9 seconds. The car could also run the quarter-mile in less than 12 seconds.
The new Super Bee is being unveiled as part of the Charger’s 60th anniversary celebration. Besides Roadkill Nights, festivities are planned for the Woodward Dream Cruise on August 15 and the Dodge NHRA Great Lakes Nationals in mid-September.
Dodge CEO Matt McAlear said, “Every year, Roadkill Nights gives us the chance to turn up the volume on Woodward Avenue with something bigger, louder and faster, and this year, Dodge is raising the bar again. We’re about to reveal the most powerful Sixpack-powered Charger we’ve ever built, then spend the next day shoulder to shoulder with the enthusiasts who live and breathe Dodge performance.”
While Dodge will be front and center, Ram and Chrysler will also make an appearance. NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck drivers will be on hand at Roadkill Nights, while the minivan brand will showcase two modified Pacificas.
It’s also worth noting the company has mentioned “new product announcements,” so there could be even more surprises in store.
