The Nissan GT-R has built its reputation embarrassing exotic cars on pavement, not climbing over rocks or kicking up dirt. Yet someone looked at Godzilla and apparently thought it needed a body lift, chunky fender flares, and a roof-mounted spare tire instead. The result is one of the stranger GT-R builds we’ve seen, and it’s currently up for auction in the Netherlands at what, for now at least, looks like a bargain price.

Based on a 2010 GT-R, the coupe retains its 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6, but the auction listing says output has been increased from the factory 485 hp (357 kW) to an estimated 600 hp (447 kW). Power is still sent through Nissan’s all-wheel-drive system and six-speed dual-clutch transmission. It’s a legitimately potent package.

The visual changes are impossible to miss. Riveted fender flares wrap around all four corners, the suspension has been lifted substantially, and a full-size spare rides on the roof rack alongside an LED light bar. Up front, wildly oversized auxiliary lamps replace any hope of subtlety, while the stock rear wing remains in place as a reminder that this started life as a supercar.
According to an included Dutch appraisal completed in 2022, the Nissan was imported into the Netherlands that year and assigned an insured value of €120,000 (around $134,000 at current rates). The report notes the body conversion was carried out professionally and describes the overall condition as good. Notably, it also mentions cosmetic issues including damage around the front tow hook, a slightly misaligned front bumper, and a missing piece from the left front fender flare.

The odometer now shows just under 55,000 km (34,200 miles). Perhaps the biggest surprise is the price. At the time of writing, bidding has reached just €24,500 ($28,300) with less than a day remaining.
That’s unlikely to be the final figure, but even if it climbs substantially, this lifted GT-R could still end up being one of the cheapest, and certainly one of the most unusual 600-hp off-road toys money can buy.
