- The 2027 Honda Passport is making its way to dealerships.
- Base model climbs by $245, but TrailSport jumps $1,345.

Honda introduced the 2027 Passport earlier this month and now the company has announced pricing will begin at $45,195 before a $1,595 destination fee. That’s $245 more than last year’s model, but the TrailSport jumps from $48,650 to $49,995 for a $1,345 increase.
The entry-level Passport RTL carries over largely untouched as the only update appears to be Smoke Blue Pearl replacing the Obsidian Blue Pearl paint job. That’s nothing to get excited about, but the model comes equipped with LED lighting units, an acoustic windshield, and 18-inch wheels wrapped in all-season tires. They’re joined by a power liftgate and rear privacy glass.

The interior comes nicely equipped with a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, and a nine-speaker audio system. Buyers will also find heated leather and cloth front seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a tri-zone climate control system. Other highlights include an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a wireless smartphone charger, and an ambient lighting system.
While the base model provides plenty of déjà vu, the TrailSport variant ushers in an assortment of updates including a new suspension that provides an additional 1.4 inches (36 mm) of ground clearance. The model has also been equipped with a revised front fascia, more pronounced fender flares, and amber LED lights in the hood scoop. On top of that, there’s additional standard equipment including a heated steering wheel and a TrailWatch camera system.
Besides the updates, the TrailSport is notable for having fog lights, skid plates, recovery hooks, and 18-inch wheels wearing all-terrain rubber. The model also has a panoramic moonroof, all-season floor mats, and HondaTex/cloth seats with orange accents.
The TrailSport Elite has many of the same upgrades as the standard TrailSport, but the price climbs $1,045 to begin at $53,695. That’s a sizable jump, but buyers will find auto-dimming side mirrors, puddle lights, and a hands-free power liftgate.
Inside, there’s perforated leather front seats with heating and ventilation. The model also has heated rear seats, rear sunshades, and a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system.
Last but not least, Honda has revamped the Blackout Packages for the TrailSport and TrailSport Elite. It has an “even more aggressive look” thanks to new black front and rear fascias that match the black badging as well as the black 18-inch wheels.
Regardless of which trim is selected, all Passports are equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 280 hp (209 kW / 284 PS) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. They’re connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system. This enables the crossover to return up to 19 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 21 mpg combined.
The 2027 Passport is currently arriving at dealerships and Honda recently launched a new “Base to Captain” campaign to support it.
