Lexus has introduced a few updates for the LX in its home market, with Japanese buyers finally getting access to the F Sport trim that has been available in the US and Middle East since the debut of the current generation in late 2021. The flagship SUV also benefits from a revised chassis setup across the lineup, something that could reach other markets in the near future.
Starting with the F Sport trim which is the new addition to the Japanese lineup, it is available for the gasoline-powered LX 600 and the hybrid LX 700h, joining the standard LX, the rugged Overtrail+ and the flagship Executive.

It also gets the exclusive Neutrino Gray shade for the exterior and a Flare Red interior. The cabin features sporty seats, Hadori aluminum inserts inspired by Japanese swords, branded scuff plates, aluminum pedals, and dimpled leather on the steering wheel and the gearknob.
More importantly, the F Sport gets special tuning for the performance dampers, Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), and Electric Power Steering (EPS), plus a Torsen limited slip differential on the rear axle.

The standard LX600 rides on 20-inch aluminum wheels with six double spokes and a dark clear coat finish. The off-road-focused Overtrail+ benefits from slightly beefier tires measuring 265/70R18. Those feature an optimized tire structure and tread pattern for lower noise on paved roads, and a block pattern on the tire sidewall.
Finally, Lexus expanded the color palette with the new White Nova Glass Flake color which is available across the lineup.
