The BMW M235i Coupe is known for its tail-happy behavior (with the electronic nannies switched off), which is something good in a model that is closer to the brand’s roots than any other one in its current lineup.

To demonstrate how easily and safely the M235i can be drifted around, BMW organized a synchronized drifting session in a roundabout located in the heart of Cape Town, South Africa.

The “drift mob show”, as BMW calls it, featured five BMW M235i Coupes, professional stunt drivers and a Hollywood film crew that caught the event on tape.

The video you are about to watch features some cool stunts that took onlookers by surprise, as traffic in the roundabout was suddenly closed and the red BMWs started their act.

While it may look easy to some, putting together the drift mob show took a lot of work and planning, as you can see from the making-of video which is also posted below. Enjoy!
