This incident took place in Chisinau, Moldova, where an Opel Astra Caravan and an E46 Bimmer exchanged pleasantries until one of them dropped the ball.
You’ve probably been in this situation before. You’re stuck in traffic behind a car that’s trying to make a left turn on a narrow boulevard with no designated lane for turning. Then again, you may have been on the other side of the coin where you need to make a left and you realize you’ll be holding up a bunch of cars while you wait for incoming traffic to clear.
Either way, this is a very relate-able situation and yet we could say that there’s plenty of blame to go around.
While holding back judgment, we do notice how the BMW driver immediately put pressure on that Astra, so much so that whoever was behind the wheel gave up on turning left and was forced to move forward and find another way. Also, as far as we can tell, turning left there wasn’t illegal, regardless of how inconvenient it was for everybody trailing the Opel on that lane.
Sure enough, the driver of the Astra went on to brake-check the BMW and the two cars continued to duel for position until the Opel ran straight into the back of a Lada.
