This incident took place earlier this week and involves a driver who apparently fell asleep at the wheel.
Contrary to what it may look like, the car with the least amount of fortune in this clip didn’t end up off-road because its driver got spooked somehow by that black Toyota that went past moments before the accident took place.
According to the title of the video, the man fell asleep, so that Toyota speeding past is just a coincidence. As soon as it goes by, the car starts drifting slowly towards the edge of the road, and what happens next is both unfortunate and surprisingly violent.
It got a decent amount if hang time after hitting what we assume is a raised portion of that turf – so once it landed, it started rolling over almost immediately as the dashcam vehicle drives past.
Of course, we’ve seen similar crashes and we’ve seen crashes that were a lot worse (that happened for the same reason), and the consensus is always the same – pull over when feeling tired.
