Audi is preparing to launch the all-new Q5 and its latest video it is promoting the SUV’s off-road credentials.

Filmed from up close for a few seconds, the second generation model reveals its redesigned front fascia that is similar to the Q7.

The exterior design won’t be the only things shared between the new Q5 and Q7, as the former will also be built on a version of the MLB-Evo platform and use an adjustable air suspension. The dashboard that will probably mix elements from the most recent A4 and Q7, wrapped up in a package which will make the Q5 more competitive against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLC and BMW X3.

With an SQ5 version tipped to join the lineup, and a possible RS variant, too, the brand with the four rings’ latest SUV will be on display at the 2016 Paris Auto Show, this Thursday, powered by the usual range of four-cylinder and V6 petrol and diesel engines.
