When you’ve got a car that’s capable of doing some pretty ludicrous things (pun intended), doing these types of tests can be rather fun.
So then can you drink water out of a full glass in the back of a Model S P90D when the driver is flooring the throttle? As you can probably deduce from the image, you really can’t – not unless you consider getting a mouth-full of water by accident being the same as drinking that water.
In fact, as stated by that little girl, you’re more likely to get water in your nose than down your throat at that point, which goes to show just how quick the P90D is.
The kids in the back of the Model S are actually given two tries at attempting to genuinely drink the water instead of just spilling it and both times they’re unsuccessful – both from a rolling start as well as with a standing start. So, this is a no-drinking drive; please, fasten your seat belts and hang on for some stupendous acceleration.
