We’ve already seen a handful of teaser videos for this year’s Super Bowl commercials but Mercedes is mixing things up by announcing plans to give away a C43 Coupe during the big game.

As part of the promotion, Mercedes will release a game called Last Fan Standing and it will ask players to “fight the distractions of an exciting game, hilarious advertisements and a jaw-dropping halftime performance to keep their eyes, and fingers, on the prize.”

Mercedes says the game is a modern take on classic dealership promotions where customers are required to keep their hands on a car in order to win it. However,  this won’t be quite as easy as players will have to hold their finger on a moving Mercedes-AMG C43 Coupe. This will become increasingly more difficult as the game progresses but players will be shown a live counter of how contestants remain.

The contest kicks off on February 4th at 6:30 pm EST but fans can practice their techniques starting on January 31st. In order to do this, they can visit LastFanStanding.com and play an interactive training game to prepare for the competition. Fans will also need to visit the site on February 4th to register for the competition between 12:00 am – 6:25 pm EST.

The winner of the contest will receive a C43 Coupe worth $63,140 and up to thirty percent of the vehicle’s MSRP ($19,842) in cash to help pay for taxes and other expenses. The winner can also select another Mercedes vehicle but the rules imply you’re better off sticking with the coupe.

In a statement, Mercedes-Benz USA vice president of marketing Drew Slaven said “We wanted to get beyond the traditional game-day executions and do something that was more reflective of the social co-viewing phenomena that game day has become with people alternating between watching the big screen and socializing on the small one.”
