The New York Auto Show kicks off next week and Volvo will be using the event to stage the North American debut of the 2019 V60.

Originally unveiled in Geneva, the redesigned wagon follows in the footsteps of the V90 as it adopts a stylish new design and a more luxurious interior.

In the United States, the V60 Momentum will come nicely equipped with LED headlights, a panoramic glass roof and 18-inch alloy wheels. The model will also have a leather-wrapped steering wheel and power heated front seats with leather upholstery. Other highlights include a dual-zone automatic climate control system, power folding rear seats, Iron Ore aluminum trim and a Sensus infotainment system with a 9-inch display.

The V60 rides on the SPA platform and will be offered with two different engines in the United States. The entry-level model has a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 250 hp (186 kW) and 258 lb-ft (349 Nm) of torque. It is paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive.

Buyers can also opt for the T6 variant which has a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine developing 316 hp (235 kW) and 295 lb-ft (399 Nm) of torque. The eight-speed gearbox carries over but all-wheel drive system is standard on the more powerful wagon.

Besides the V60, Volvo will showcase the 2019 XC40 Inscription. The model comes with additional equipment and full details will be released at the show.

While Volvo is being coy on specifics, the UK-spec XC40 Inscription has LED headlights, a power tailgate and matte silver skid plates. The crossover also comes equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a power driver’s seat and leather upholstery. Drivers will also find a dual-zone automatic climate control system, a 10-speaker premium audio system and a 9-inch Sensus infotainment system with GPS navigation.
