Every month, the developers behind the Forza Motorsport series release a new update. And they typically include some exciting new machinery, rendered in digital form for our enjoyment in virtual reality.
They’ve just released the latest update for Forza 7. And included among the new metal is none other than the 2018 Honda Odyssey.
That’s right, the family hauler. The newest addition is actually “the first minivan to come to Forza,” according to its creators. And with a 3.5-liter V6 deploying 280 horsepower, it’ll run up to 60 in under seven seconds. Which isn’t half bad for a minivan. Okay, so the Odyssey may not be the most exciting new set of wheels to reach the popular Xbox racing game. But it “doubles as a rolling canvas for you livery artists.”
Not floating your boat? That’s alright, because there’s more. The K1 Speed Car Pack also includes a smattering of race cars. There’s a widebody ’76 Corvette called the Spirit of America, the 1985 Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo developed by Electramotive Engineering, as well as the 1948 Ferrari 166 Inter Sport, ’66 Porsche 906 Carrera 6 and 1980 Porsche 924 Carrera GTS. The 2017 Maserati Levante S joins the party as well, but so far we’ve yet to see the new eight-cylinder Trofeo version reach the game.
You can check them all out in the image gallery and video below. But there’s more to the update than the new cars. Along with them, the devs have also added a test-drive function in multiplayer lobbies, support for Fanatec analog handbrakes, and a new Race Telemetry feature.
