Porsche is gearing up to introduce the 911 Turbo at the Geneva Motor Show, but there are still countless other versions on the horizon.

This includes the 911 Targa GTS which was caught undergoing cold weather testing in Sweden earlier today.

Set to be offered alongside coupe and convertible variants, the 911 Targa GTS has an aggressive appearance as it has been equipped with SportDesign bumpers and the Porsche Exclusive sports exhaust system.

However, the biggest change is the addition of center-locking wheels which cover a high-performance braking system with red calipers. Those are certainly more noticeable than the third brake light which is clear instead of its usual red.

Spy photographers didn’t get close enough to snap the interior, but we can expect the GTS to come equipped with the Sport Chrono Package just like its predecessor. There should also be sport seats, Alcantara upholstery and plenty of black accents.

Power will likely be provided by a familiar twin-turbo 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Since the 911 Carrera S is already as powerful as the old GTS, we can expect a significant power boost. There’s no word on specifics, but speculation has suggested an output between 464 hp (346 kW / 470 PS) and 473 hp (353 kW / 480 PS).

Regardless of the final number, the engine should be paired to a seven-speed manual and an optional PDK transmission. All-wheel drive will also return and could come standard on the Targa.

The 911 GTS is expected to be introduced later this year, so look for a possible debut a major auto show such as New York, Shanghai or Paris.
