The long-awaited Rimac C_Two is edging closer to production and YouTuber Misha Charoudin recently had the opportunity to test out a prototype on a closed circuit.
Rimac had intended on unveiling the production-ready C_Two at the Geneva Motor Show in March but as we all know, that event was canceled and the car’s premiere pushed back. Nevertheless, the Croatian company has been continuing to develop the all-electric hypercar in recent months to get it ready for customers.
While Charoudin is best-known for his videos at the Nürburgring, he is also involved in the marketing department at Rimac and during a recent test and filming day for the C_Two at a circuit, was given the opportunity to briefly drive the car around the track.

The YouTuber says the car was running at approximately 50 per cent power during the track test and is very much a prototype, meaning advanced systems like the torque vectoring were not enabled. Nevertheless, it looks to be right at home at the track even though Charoudin wasn’t pushing the car anywhere near its limits. In fact, he barely exceeded 130 km/h (80 mph) on the track’s short straights.
When the C_Two reaches the hands of customers, it will come equipped with four electric motors that work together to pump out an extraordinary 1,888 hp and 1,696 lb-ft (2,300 Nm) of torque. Providing these motors with energy will be a 120 kW battery pack. Rimac says the hypercar will be capable of hitting 60 mph (96 km/h) in roughly 1.85 seconds and hit a top speed of 258 mph (412 km/h).
