For many LEGO Technic fans, Christmas will come six months earlier this year, as the Danish company and Lamborghini have uncovered the Sian FKP 37 scale model that replicates the looks of the real supercar and boasts several moving parts.

Developed in partnership between the two brands, the 1:8 scale model measures over 23 inches long, 9 inches wide and 5 inches tall (60x25x13 cm) and comes in a unique box inspired by the Sian that contains 3,696 parts, or 97 small bricks more than the stunning LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron.

Some of the highlights of the build include the front and rear suspension, functioning eight-speed sequential gearbox that’s controlled by a movable paddle gearshift, steering powered straight from the cockpit, adjustable rear spoiler and scissor doors. A replica of the V12 engine is also included, and opening the frunk will reveal the Lamborghini overnight bag and a unique serial number that unlocks special content.

“This outstanding replica of the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 from the LEGO Group presents a brilliant new building experience for both super sports car fans and LEGO enthusiasts and Lamborghini is privileged to share this opportunity with the LEGO Group”, said Lambo’s Chairman and CEO, Stefano Domenicali.

“The LEGO Technic Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 is a true testament that with LEGO Technic, you can build anything your heart desires”, added LEGO’s CEO, Niels B. Christiansen. “I can’t wait to build this authentic replica of this futuristic super sports car for real.”

The Sian FKP 37 is finished in lime green, a color available on the real model, and rides on golden wheels that echo the ones of the 807 HP raging bull that starts at over €2 million ($2.2 million), excluding taxes. Pricing has yet to be revealed, yet given the complex package, we wouldn’t be surprised if it costs more than the $349 LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron.

LEGO will launch it in its official stores and on the website on June 1, and it will then become available at global retailers from August 1.
