Production of the Dodge Challenger SRT Demon ended more than two years ago, after 3,300 units rolled off the production line, yet it remains a drag strip sensation due to its jaw-dropping power and straight-line performance.

Billed as the world’s fastest accelerating car when it was unveiled in 2017, the Demon is already a collectible, with the best examples fetching well over $100K. This one is listed for $129,900, $69,205 more than the 2020 Challenger SRT Hellcat, which starts at $60,695, and $44,905 more than the original MSRP.

Advertised by RKMotors in North Carolina, it’s a one-owner, barely-driven vehicle, with a mere 483 miles (777 km) on the odometer. Finished in black with a yellow lip, red ‘Demon’ badges and brake calipers, it also boasts a black leather and Alcantara interior with white stitching and red seatbelts. You name it and this Demon has it, from the climate control to the heated and ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, Uconnect infotainment system, Harman Kardon audio, backseat, Demon crate and so on.

Demon #945 is powered by the ubiquitous 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V8, which makes 840 HP (851 PS / 626 kW) and 770 lb-ft (1,042 Nm) of torque on race fuel. It brags about doing the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in just 2.3 seconds and running the quarter mile in 9.65 seconds at 140 mph (225 km/h) – so we’re talking supercar, if not hypercar, performance here.

The vendor claims that they can take care of the shipment, no matter where the future owner lives, so they’ve got this part covered too. All you have to do now is decide whether you’d spend that much on a Demon or choose one of the 717 HP Hellcat models for almost half the cost instead.
