The 2021 model year Stingray Coupe starts at $59,995, and the Convertible, which is the one put to the test in the video that follows, carries a $7,500 premium.
Sure, coming by a base ‘Vette C8 on dealer lots is close to impossible, but if you do, then expect to get features such as the smart key access, 8-inch infotainment system, limited-slip differential and different driving modes.

Upper specs get the GT2 bucket seats with heating and ventilation, Bose premium audio, front camera, nose-lift kit and adaptive suspension. For the ultimate experience, you should check out the Z51 package, which adds an electronic limited-slip differential, performance exhaust system, upgraded brakes and suspension, improved engine cooling and sticky tires from Michelin.
The 6.2-liter V8, which now sits in the middle and drives the rear wheels via an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, pumps out 490 HP and 465 pound-feet (630 Nm) of torque as standard, or 5 HP and 5 lb-ft (7 Nm) more with the optional performance exhaust. In the most agile form, it takes under 3 seconds to hit 60 mph (96 km/h) and has a 184 mph (296 km/h) top speed.
