The Koenigsegg Gemera is one of the most intriguing supercars ever conceived and while customer deliveries have yet to commence, it continues to be shown to potential customers across the United States.

As you would imagine, the initial Gemera show car that has been displayed by the Swedish car manufacturer around the world is no longer in the immaculate state in which it left the factory, so Koenigsegg recently called upon Larry Kosilla from Ammo NYC to give it a quick detail while it was on display in Manhattan.

The paint of the Gemera wasn’t in particularly poor condition but the detailing expert did discover a lot of swirl marks across the doors. In addition, there were some swirl marks across the front quarter panels and wheel arches, presumably where people had been leaning against the car to take photos.

To fix up these areas, Kosilla buffed and polished them with his own products. He only had a couple of hours to do the job before the car was transported from New York to Boston for a show so he wasn’t able to thoroughly detail every area of the car and instead focused on the ones that needed to be fixed up the most.

Once most of the swirls were removed, he applied a ceramic coating across the paint to give it an excellent shine while protecting it moving forward.

A number of things about the Gemera make it unique, most notably the fact that it is a four-seater that looks like a two-seat hypercar. It is also powered by a tiny 2.0-liter twin-turbocharged three-cylinder Freevalve engine pumping out 600 hp and 442 lb-ft (600 Nm) of torque which is coupled to three electric motors that add 1,100 hp.
