Ford Performance today unveiled the six Bronco concepts it is taking to the annual SEMA Show, which runs from November 2 to 5. The concepts have been designed to show off how many aftermarket parts are offered for the new Bronco and Bronco Sport not just by Ford Performance, but by independent companies, too.

“Bronco and Bronco Sport customers love parts and accessories that emphasize performance and off-road lifestyle, so we worked closely with Bronco design and vehicle engineering to deliver the products to match their individual lifestyle,” said Eric Cin, Ford global director, vehicle personalization, accessories and licensing. “Since the reveal last year, we’ve expanded the line to more than 350 Bronco and Bronco Sport parts and accessories and growing.”

New From Ford Performance

Along with these concepts, Ford Performance is also taking the opportunity to unveil a few parts. For instance, the company will show off a new front-drive unit that supports up to a 5.38:1 gear set which, according to Ford, provides a significant off-road performance advantage.

It has also developed several new Bronco chassis components for the two- and four-door Broncos. These include a severe-duty steering rack and tie rod ends to improve steering system durability under high loads. Ford Performance also created performance tuning for the 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine that can be uploaded via a Pro-Cal 4 scan tool to the OBDII port.

The in-house tuner is also introducing new 17-inch Method Race wheels for the Bronco that will be available at Ford dealers. The 17×8.5-inch wheels Method 703 Bead Grip wheels are made of T6 heat-treated A356 aluminum with patented bead grip technology for security when running at lower pressures off-road.

All of these parts, as well as the concept Broncos listed above and a selection of vintage and race Broncos, will be on display at the Ford Out Front display near the main entrance of the Las Vegas Convention Center along with a Bronco capability course that features the Bronco Mountain, where attendees will be able to experience the SUV’s capabilities firsthand.
