If the BMW Z4 is a little bland for you, then the Boldmen CR4 could be right up your alley and a pair of them have just hit the used car market.

Boldmen was founded by Harald Käs, Michael Käs, and Friedhelm Wiesmann, the man behind Wiesmann GmbH, and the CR4 was unveiled in mid-2021. It costs roughly three times more than a typical BMW Z4.

The first example we’ve found for sale is number 5 of the initial allocation of 30 units bound for the production line. It has been listed up for sale through Sportivo Leipzig in Germany and has an eye-watering price tag of €215,140 ($235,000).

The exterior of the CR4 is quite different than a typical Z4, even though it has a similar overall shape. Located up front is a redesigned grille, fascia, and headlight surrounds, all made from carbon fiber. This example is finished in a dark shade of blue and the interior really stands out thanks to cream-colored leather adorning the seats, transmission tunnel, dashboard, A-pillars, and door panels.

As for the second CR2 listed for sale, it is available through Mobile.de and is number 6. It is painted black and has a set of silver wheels that stand out more than the darker wheels of the number 5 car. The interior of this example is also quite different as it sports a combination of black and red leather. It has an asking price of €207,210 (~$226,000).

Both examples are based on the BMW Z4 M40i, meaning they featurea 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine. However, whereas a standard Z4 M40i delivers 335 hp and 449 lb-ft (610 Nm) of torque, the CR4 now pumps out 402 hp and can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 3.9 seconds.
