There’s no denying that the Ford GT is a very impressive car, combining solid performance with epic supercar styling and serious racing pedigree. However, is it really worth more than $1.1 million, like this example?

The following 2019 Ford GT is a ’68 Heritage Edition and is currently up for auction through Bring a Trailer. With almost a week left in the auction, bidding had already surpassed the $1.1 million mark and will likely continue to increase. It has been driven just 234 miles and has a clean Carfax report and a clean Montana title.

Interestingly, this very Ford GT was acquired by the seller on the popular auction site back in August 2021. It had just 46 miles under its belt at the time and sold for $1.22 million. The mid-engined supercar has been fitted with the Equipment Group 500A that came as a $100,000 option and is painted in Heritage Blue with orange accents and the Heritage Roundel Graphics package, inspired by famous Gulf Racing liveries. Keeping all of the lovely bodywork pristine is a clear paint protection film.

Beyond the stunning paint scheme, the car features a set of 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with a Satin Silver finish and wrapped in 245/35 front and 325/30 rear Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. These wheels sit over a set of orange brake calipers that bite down on carbon ceramic discs.

The listing notes that the Ford’s cabin has been equipped with the ’68 Heritage package and fixed Sparco seats trimmed in black leather with Alcantara elements and patterned seat inserts. Blue and orange accent stitching is also found throughout, as are pieces of carbon fiber.

Like all other GT’s, the car is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbocharged EcoBoost V6. This engine was good for 647 hp and 550 lb-ft (746 Nm) of torque from the factory, solid numbers but hardly game-changing. The seller notes the car had a sticker price of $620,500.
