The Jeep Renegade will celebrate its tenth anniversary next month, but Stellantis isn’t ready to say goodbye. Quite the opposite as the company has announced a handful of updates for Europe.

The changes are largely focused on technology as the 2024 Renegade adopts a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. It’s joined by a new 10.1-inch infotainment system, which is 40% larger than its predecessor and has five times the processing power for “instant touch feedback, faster route calculations, and remarkably swift voice responses.”

The modern display looks a little out of place, but it features over-the-air updates as well as wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Buyers will also find 4G connectivity and a host of connected features such as remote locking and unlocking of doors.

Additional changes are limited, but the 2024 Renegade boasts a new steering wheel and upgraded USB charging ports. The mid-level Summit trim gains new 18-inch alloy wheels, which “not only enhance its visual appeal but also improve its performance on the road.” The Overland goes in a different direction as it gains a digital camera that “enhances safety,” according to Jeep.

On the performance front, e-Hybrid and 4xe plug-in hybrids have optimized engine and battery calibrations that help to improve fuel consumption and CO2 emissions by up to 5%.

The 2024 Renegade is currently available to order and Jeep’s European boss, Eric Laforge, said the model will “continue to be one of the protagonists in the B-SUV segment” thanks to a “new infotainment system with 5x faster processing, larger Full HD displays, and exceptional connectivity.”
