• Dodge has introduced the 2027 Durango, which receives minor updates.
  • The Durango R/T 392 offers a new Plus variant with Nappa leather seats.
  • Dodge also improved security to help prevent unauthorized key fob duplication.

A “refreshed” Durango is set to arrive before 2030, but the current model is rolling into 2027 with a handful of minor updates. These primarily focus on customization as there are new packages and trims.

The Durango GT Hemi gains a new Brass Monkey package, which includes 20-inch Brass Monkey wheels as well as black “345” fender badges with brass accents.

The Durango R/T 392 offers a new Plus variant, which adds Nappa leather seats as well as leather-wrapped armrests and a center console lid. The seven-seat crossover also has heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and a sunroof. They’re joined by black roof rails with integrated Stow ‘n Place crossbars.

The Durango R/T 392 can also be equipped with several new options including red seat belts, 20-inch Brass Monkey wheels, and yellow Brembo brake calipers on the Premium variant.

Customers can opt for a new Blacktop Redline package, which adds 20-inch Y-spoke forged wheels as well as a splitter on Plus and Premium versions. The package also includes a six-seat interior with Crypto Sweep accents as well as Nappa leather and suede upholstery.

The range-topping Durango SRT Hellcat now offers more than 14 million combinations thanks to new Jailbreak personalization options. Among the choices are two new wheel designs and a six-seat interior with black Nappa leather and suede.

Last but not least, all Durangos offer a new Pitch Black paint job. Dodge also equipped the aging crossover with a “digital deadbolt,” which minimizes unauthorized key pairing and key fob duplication.

The engine lineup carries over and includes everything from a 295 hp (220 kW / 299 PS) 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 to a supercharged 6.2-liter Hemi V8 producing 710 hp (529 kW / 720 PS). Dodge didn’t release pricing for the entry-level Durango GT, but confirmed the GT Hemi will continue to begin at $43,675.
