• GM is gearing up to start delivering 2027 Corvette models, replacing the E-Ray.
  • There are more than 2,000 2026 E-Ray and Z06s in Chevy’s US inventory.
  • Chevrolet is only letting select customers save big with its latest incentive.

Chevrolet seems keen to clear out its remaining 2026 Corvette E-Ray and Z06 stock, and it has quietly rolled out a $7,000 incentive covering both. There’s a catch, though. Nothing guarantees you’ll actually qualify for it.

The deal, officially called the ‘Corvette Targeted Private Offer’, landed in a bulletin sent to Chevrolet dealers earlier this week. Details remain thin. The bulletin notes that only customers who receive the offer will be eligible, and exactly how a buyer lands on that list isn’t clear.

According to Cars Direct, the offer is only valid until July 7 and is expected to take the form of either a discount code or a savings certificate. The incentive can be transferred to members of the same household. In all likelihood, the code will be either emailed or sent by snail mail to lucky prospective Corvette buyers across the country.

It’s unknown why the offer is limited to the E-Ray and Z06 models. A look at Chevrolet’s inventory reveals there are currently almost 1,000 examples of the 2026 Corvette E-Ray available within a 2,000-mile radius of Beverly Hills, California. Inventory for 2026 Corvette E-Ray models is even larger, with no fewer than 1,294 available within the same search radius.

Although the C8 Z06 is surviving through the 2027 model year, the same cannot be said about the E-Ray. As part of a thorough refresh of the Corvette line-up, the E-Ray has been replaced by the hybrid Grand Sport X, which uses the company’s new LS6 6.7-liter naturally aspirated V8 alongside a front-mounted electric motor, for a combined 721 hp.

Those interested in getting behind the wheel of a slightly older 2025 Corvette can also benefit from some large savings. In addition to the same targeted $7,000 incentive being offered to select customers, 2025 models are also offered with a $4,000 loyalty discount for existing Camaro and Corvette owners, boosting the potential savings to $11,000.
