This Volcano Orange McLaren P1 Is A $1.9 Million Bargain

Is spending $4.7 million on a European hybrid hypercar a little too much? Well you don’t have to purchase a matte black LaFerrari to join this exclusive club and for a touch over $1.9 million, can drive away in a glorious 2014 McLaren P1, saving you almost $3 million.

Currently up for sale on James Edition in Elsloo, Netherlands, this P1 is potentially one of the highest mileage customer-owned examples. As a matter of fact, it has 19,100 km (11,868 miles) on the clock so has certainly been enjoyed by its original owner.

The exterior has been painted in the stunning shade known as Volcano Orange, the same color used for the original P1 Concept show car. Complementing the paint work is carbon fiber across the front fascia, side skirts, doors, rear diffuser, engine cover, wing mirrors and underside of the rear wing.

The interior is also rather special with brown leather and alcantara across the seats and door panels. A chassis plaque also reveals that this P1 is number 134 of just 375 produced.

Given the car’s high mileage, it is understandable why it is priced just below $2 million while most other P1s are fetching over that figure. But for the original owner, driving almost 20,000 km in one of the world’s fastest cars while making a profit of over $500,000 seems like quite the good deal.
