We don’t want to give Russian drivers bad name, but when it comes to recorded traffic incidents of all sorts, they seem to lead the way. Most of the crashes we post are actually avoidable, and we are always perplexed as to why they don’t brake, steer and stop when they should, depending on each situation.

I mean, take a look at the video posted below. Was there not anything else for the Mazda3 sedan driver to hit? The car wasn’t even traveling that fast, and again we come to ask ourselves why no evasive action is taken. The unlucky man who was waiting in the bus shelter for his ride home got a head-full of roof, and definitely some sort of bruising or contusions following the contact.

However, the man does not seem to be badly hurt, but then again we’re not doctors, and even they can’t spot internal bleeding or other complications right away.

The moral behind all of this? Well, if you’re a driver and you’re about to crash into something on the side of the road, make sure it’s not a bus stop, because people tend to gather around these, and things could get really ugly. If, however, you are a bus commuter in Russia, it would be a good idea to poke two eye-holes into the newspaper, and keep a lookout for any potential threats…
