The 2020 Toyota Supra will be unveiled at the North American International Auto Show two weeks from today, but that hasn’t stopped the company from releasing one final teaser video for 2018.

The clip isn’t very revealing, but it’s an audio treat as you can heard the car’s engine as it tackles the Fuji Speedway – better known as Mt. Fuji – in Japan.

While Toyota is keeping details under wraps, two purported pictures of the car recently surfaced online. They showed the model will have a sporty front fascia with LED headlights and three large air intakes. The car has also been equipped with a front splitter, canards and intakes below the headlights.

As with most sport cars, the Supra features a long hood and muscular rear haunches. The model also has a double bubble roof, aerodynamic side skirts and a rakish windscreen with blacked out A-pillars.

Other notable styling features include lightweight wheels that are reportedly backed up by a Brembo braking system. Buyers will also a dual exhaust system and an aggressive rear bumper with an F1-inspired central brake light.

The resulting look isn’t exactly beautiful, but the model features a unique design that bears little resemblance to the BMW Z4. The only exterior component that appears to carryover is the mirror caps and they might even feature subtle modifications.

While the two cars have an entirely different look, they share the same engine, chassis and transmission. However, Toyota has previously said each has been uniquely tuned for use in the Supra.

Technical specifications remain a mystery, but the Supra will use a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine. In the Z4 M40i, it produces up to 382 hp (284 kW / 387 PS) and 369 lb-ft (500 Nm) of torque. This allows the roadster to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.4 seconds.
