Not long after Walmart filed a lawsuit against Tesla claiming that the electric carmaker’s solar panels were catching fires on its roofs, Amazon asserts that it too has encountered fiery issues with Tesla’s solar panels.

Bloomberg reports that the roof of an Amazon warehouse in Redlands, California caught fire in June 2018. It is claimed that the fire involved a solar panel system installed by Tesla’s SolarCity division.

In an email, the retail giant said it had no plans to install more Tesla solar panel systems on its various warehouses across the United States.

Tesla said it worked with Amazon in the aftermath of the fire and says there are 11 other Amazon sites with solar roof panels from Tesla.

“Tesla worked collaboratively with Amazon to root cause the event and remediate,” the company said. “We also performed inspections at the other sites, which confirmed the integrity of the systems.”

Last week, Walmart hit Tesla with a lawsuit accusing the company of sub-par solar panel installations that triggered blazes at more than half a dozen of its stores in the U.S. News of the lawsuit triggered a drop in the share price of Tesla.

The complaint reveals that Walmart had leased or licensed roof space at more than 240 stores to Tesla’s energy unit.

Walmart and Tesla issued a joint statement on Friday saying “both companies want each and every system to operate reliably, efficiently, and safely.”

Tesla has admitted that some connectors manufactured by Amphenol Corp for its solar panels have “experienced failures and disconnections at a higher rate than our standards allow.”
