A stunning 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback built by Ringbrothers is currently up for auction. Lovingly known as ‘Copperback,’ it is one of the finest restomod Mustangs you’re likely to come across.

The project initially started back in 2007 where the body was customized with shaved drip rails and door handles as well as a raised dorsal line. In addition, the pony car was equipped with a custom carbon fiber hood and trunk fabricated by Gemini Technology Systems. Other body modifications were made, including reshaped lower side scoops, shortened bumpers, and ground effects panels.

Adorning the exterior is a finish of Glasurit Copper Burnt Orange Metallic with dark gray accents on the hood, air dam, side skirts and rear spoiler. The Mustang also has tinted glass, billet aluminum accents and sits on a set of 19-inch three-piece iForged wheels with black powdercoated centers. Ringbrothers also upgraded the brakes with Baer 6S monoblock calipers and ceramic brake pads as well as 15-inch slotted and drilled front and 14-inch rear rotors.

The Bring A Trailer listing reveals the interior was re-trimmed by Steve Pearson of Upholstery Limited when the car was returned to Ringbrothers four years ago for additional upgrades. The interior is now clad in brown and black leather and also includes custom-molded bucket seats and four-point harnesses.

Powering this Mustang is a Roush Performance 427 cubic-inch V8 engine with aluminum cylinder heads, electronic fuel injection, individual throttle bodies, and ceramic-coated Magnaflow exhaust headers. Mated to the engine is a Tremec five-speed manual transmission that sends power to the rear wheels via a Currie Ford 9-inch limited-slip rear end with a 3.55:1 gear ratio.
