Not too long ago, this Lamborghini Urus would have rolled out of the Italian factory looking even more special than most thanks to its matte red paint scheme. Unfortunately, its life has been cut short and it is now sitting at a scrapyard in New York looking very sorry for itself.

The Urus is currently up for auction through Copart and at the time of writing had attracted a highest bid of $850. As is always the case with listings of wrecked exotics like this, no mention is made about the crash that the super SUV was involved in that left it in such a sorry state. However, the damage it has sustained reveals that it was certainly quite a serious incident.

Starting at the front, we can see that the bumper has been torn off and damaged and that one of the headlights is missing. Elsewhere, both sides of the Lamborghini have been badly damaged and are covered in dents and scratches. The passenger side windows are also missing and all four wheels have been destroyed.

The damage continues at the rear where the bumper is missing as are the rear quarter panels. An image of the engine bay reveals that some parts have been removed from the 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 and the listing makes no mention of whether or not the engine runs.

Given all the damage that the SUV has sustained, it would appear as though very few parts can be saved.
