Ringbrothers was promising something special for this year’s SEMA Show and has lived up to its claims, lifting the veil on the 1948 Chevrolet Super Truck, dubbed Enyo.

The company spent more than 10,000 hours building the ultimate pickup truck. It sports a bespoke chassis designed by Ahlman Engineering and Roadster Shop and has a modified version of the 1948 steel cab that has been narrowed and chopped by four inches, lengthened, and wedge cut.

The Chevy has then been equipped with cantilever independent suspension at both the front and rear while rocking custom Ohlins TTX coilovers with Swift springs. A set of new Brembo brakes are also featured, complete with six-piston calipers, more than enough to bring the truck to a very rapid stop.

As with any good Ringbrothers project, the car is rocking a new engine, taking the form of a 510 cubic-inch LS V8 engine from Goodwin Competition Racing Engines. This V8 is good for 1,000 hp on 110 race fuel and features Kinsler LS-Sprint eight-stack injection and a Holley fuel management system. Mated to the V8 is a Bowler Performance 4L80 automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels. The engine also has custom-fabricated one-off stainless steel headers with titanium side pipes.

Two sets of HRE wheels have also been designed for the truck. The first measure 18×11 at the front and 19×13.5 at the rear and rock 315/30 Michelin Pilot Sport tires at the front and 345/35 Bridgestone Potenza tires at the rear. The second set of wheels are 18×13 at the front and 18×15 at the rear and have 315/30 and 365/35 Goodyear Racing Eagle G-19 tires.

The body of the Chevrolet Enyo is made from lightweight carbon fiber and includes a single-piece carbon fiber belly pan. It also rocks custom stainless steel fuel tanks, a Vintage Air Gen II air conditioning system, and a custom interior created with Upholstery Unlimited and Gemini Technology Systems.

“We have been quietly planning this build for years, imagining and reimagining how it would ultimately take shape,” Ringbrothers co-owned Jim Ring said. “The end result is truly a super truck that brings together two vehicles that should never have met to deliver immense character combined with power and performance usually reserved for today’s most advanced racecars. We’re thrilled to finally be able to share ENYO with the world.”
